2. What Valve does

Valve is an iPhone app that helps you block distracting apps and websites for a while. This website is a public marketing page. It does not create accounts or collect form data.

3. Data in the iPhone app

Blocks, app selections, schedules, and screen-time summaries are stored on your device using Apple Screen Time APIs (FamilyControls, ManagedSettings, DeviceActivity). Valve does not upload a list of the apps you block to our servers.

If you subscribe to Valve Pro, Apple processes the purchase. We receive entitlement status through RevenueCat so the app can unlock Pro features. We do not receive your full payment card details.

4. This website

The marketing site is hosted on Vercel. The host may process technical logs such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, as needed to operate and secure the site. We do not use advertising cookies on this page.

5. Retention and rights

On-device data stays until you delete the app or clear it yourself. You may contact us to ask what data we hold, to correct it, or to request deletion. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

6. Children

Valve is not directed at children under 16. Screen Time restrictions on a child's device should be managed with Apple Family features and a parent or guardian.
